AUGUST, 2023
A Training on Global Perspective was conducted at Bluebells School International by the Cambridge Team on 5th August 2023 from 9:30 am – 03:00 pm. The Guest Speaker was Ms. Achama Mathew, accompanied by Ms. Prabhjyot Kaur and Mr. Jasdeep Singh from Cambridge.
The training session was attended by 40 teachers from across India which included 10 teachers from Bluebells. It gave an overview on Global Perspective as a subject, it’s need and importance, components, curriculum, syllabus and use of textbooks.
The session was insightful and allowed for reflection and improvement in the current process to ensure maximum effectiveness in a GP classroom.
JULY, 2023
The Alumni body (OSAB) of Bluebells School, Kailash, New Delhi conducted the annual health mela for 65 members of the support staff, comprising the Housekeeping, the Security staff, Drivers, Canteen Staff and other helpers on 23rd July, 2023 from 7 a.m till 12noon in the school premises.
The overall in charges, Ms Mamta Dhawan and Ms Shilpa Garg, actively organised and involved the School’s Alumni Doctors - Dr Meesha Garg (Gynaecologist, W/o Mr. Ashish Garg Batch 2001) , Dr Deepika Singh (Ophthalmologist, Batch of 2006) and Dr Nitika (Dentist, Batch 2011), and Ms. Rashi Chahal (Nutritionist & Dietitian, Batch of 2006) . Dr Meesha Garg and Dr Atul roped in the services of external agencies like Eye7 – conducted eye tests for Cataract and Vision, PSRI – conducted Sugar, BP, ECG Test and Dr Lab Path Labs- conducted blood tests for TSH, Cholesterol, Sugars and Haemoglobin.
The Doctors were assisted by a committed group of OSAB volunteers - Ms Shikha Ratra, Ms Pallavi Chaddha, Mr Rohit Mohan, Mr Umair Ahmed, Ms Puneeta, Ms Renu Punhani to make the event a great success through their commitment to serve the support staff community.The day’s proceedings concluded with a motivational talk on maintaining Good health and hygiene which is the need of the hour for one and all.
APRIL, 2023
A felicitation ceremony in honour of the alumni of Bluebells School International, Ms Guneet Monga and Mr Shaunak Sen for their recent global recognition in the world of films was held in the school premises. Cineasts par excellence, Guneet bagged the Oscar Award for her film The Elephant Whisperers and Shaunak won the Golden Eye Award for his film, All That Breathes at the Cannes Film Festival. A plethora of cultural events showcasing the ethos of the school were presented by the student and the alumni community. A tête-à-tête with the two alums and their words of wisdom left the students deeply inspired and motivated.
